La Pizza - U. City - Return Visit August 2014

It had been a while since we last visited La Pizza on Delmar, so it was time to again have some of their tasty New York style pizza. We ordered two large 16" pizzas, one with green peppers and mushrooms, and one half cheese and half bacon. We also ordered some salads and picked some drinks from their drink fridge. I now always pick the tiny little water bottles in the back which are free. The larger round table was empty so we took that one which is always the best table there.

The salads are nothing fancy, but are always good and we always get the packaged Thousand Island dressing which is very creamy and tasty. The salad is just lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and dressing, but it is a good starter for the pizza to come. When the pies arrived we were a little perplexed to see that our pepper and mushroom pizza had become a pepper and onion pizza. The server offered to make us another one, but we were hungry and it smelled good, so we ate it! The cheese and bacon one came out a few minutes later and it we had pizza everywhere.  It was delicious as always, and we took several slices home for lunch the next day as always. That gave us a very tasty Sunday lunch to look forward to during church!

Thank you, La Pizza for another delicious lunch. We did mind your onion mistake, in fact, I rather liked it!
