My daughter had never visited the Brio Tuscan Grille in Frontenac, so that seemed like a good place to go on one of our regular Saturday lunches out in the area. As usual, Saturday lunch is a pretty busy time for them and the place was pretty full. Even with the new BrickTop's Pizza and Panera Bread right next to them they still seemed to be doing a good business. The Google Map image below shows the Panera mostly completed and the BrickTop's barely started, but both restaurants are now completed and open.
It was a hot May Saturday, and they had the air blasting nice and cool inside BRIO. For our group of five it took a few minutes to be seated, and we found a nice booth near the middle of the building. They had brunch foods available, but most of us were more interested in lunch. First we enjoyed snacking on the bread they gave us after being seated, and then we got down to ordering. A couple people got the Margherita flatbread and I purchased something but I have already forgotten what! Oh well, I remember it was pretty good, but their prices always seem a little high. I guess you are paying for the atmosphere, service and the Frontenac location, but if you were just going for the food I think there may be better alternatives.
